Billy Joel – Madison Square Garden
Joe Bonamassa
Before I even give my opinion of this fellow by the name of Joe Bonamassa – I have to give a shout out to Kathy & Shadow – had they not thrown this guy my way I would have NEVER gone to see him in Denver (or the other 7 times the past 2 years) and I would have missed out on one of the BEST concert(s) of my life. I was also lucky enough to spend the evening with a handful of my friends – Sandi, Jason, Mark & Lisa (my newest friend).

KISS – Def Leppard in Chicago
I have to start by saying it was great to see a concert in an outdoor venue where I didn’t almost collapse from heat stroke. Phoenix is a great town to live in, but Chicago surely showed a cooler side of life… Continue reading KISS – Def Leppard in Chicago

5 Concerts, 12 Bands, 3 States
What an adventure! When we decided to go on this little “summer” series of concerts I knew it would be fun, but had no clue it would be this awesome.
We would definitely recommend if you want something unique as a vacation plan – this would definitely be something to consider.
Let’s go through each band – but first we must say that ‘all’ of the bands were so awesome and worth seeing. Such a variety, but at the same time, totally and completely entertaining and just breathtaking and awesome performances. Each performance had its moments and they all took us back to yester-year as they were mostly bands from our high school (for Lynda) and grade school (for Debbie). Here goes:
Paul Stanley – Face the Music – A Life Exposed
To be honest – It has been forever since I read a book. But I was told about a book signing opportunity and what the heck – I might like the book. Continue reading Paul Stanley – Face the Music – A Life Exposed
KISS / Def Leppard
Simply put – if you have never seen either band live – you simply have to!
It was probably one of the best concerts we have been to. We usually say that for each concert, but in this case – we truly had the time of our life!
All I can say about the KISS / Def Leppard concert is AWESOME!!!! Both bands put on such an amazing show. For Def Leppard I was singing all the songs right along with them. KISS I was so in “awe” of the pyrotechnics that I would forget to sing because my jaw was on the ground in amazement and we were so close you coudl feel the ‘heart’ by the pyro show. Both bands never cease to amaze me on how they never “age” and take me right back to the 80’s like it was yesterday…
