Lynda’s Story

It all started for me back in High School – like all of us, music probably brings back the most significant memories – our first dance, kiss, good times, hard times! I can’t remember much learning, but I remember the first time I saw Loggins & Messina – changed my life forever!  To this day Kenny is my ‘go to guy’… Was also able to see both reunion shows in 05 & 09! I’ve had the honor of meeting him several times and what an awesome thing – to speak with the person that made me appreciate music in so many ways.  He closes every concert with “Forever” – brings me to tears every time…   To top it all off – he’s a super sweet guy!

I guess you can say I’m a bit bi-polar in my taste…  while enjoying the ‘mellow’ sound of artists like The Eagles, Jackson Brown, James Taylor, Carol King and my all-time fave female singer – Stevie Nicks I also got hooked on ‘true’ Rock – the list goes on and but a few of my faves – KISS, Def Lepard, AC/DC, Metallica, STYX, The Doors, Cheap Trick,  Black Sabbath, REO Speedwagon, Led Zeppelin Billy Joel, Elton John.

Hard Rockers don’t hate me – I do like my Country music…   Really – don’t dis me because of this… Heck Rod Stewart is toying with doing some Country music… and possibly even some Blue’s… and well I’m sure you have heard Steven Tyler is going COUNTRY…  I actually like it…

Shout out to my friends Shadow & Kathy who turned me on to a new (not so new any more artist) – they knew I loved Chris Rhea so thought I would like this guy and truly his music takes my breath away…. So my newest and probably one of my favorite performers is Joe Bonamassa – Blues (more Bluesy Rock) – I’ve seen him 7 times in the past year — he is that good… seriously – at the age of 12 he was opening for BB King and I just can’t say enough about his music.  Another one is a guitarist that has been around forever and just recently heard about – Steve Vai – I was warned that he might melt my face off and they were right… OMG… he isn’t human – he’s so good it’s ridiculous…

Bottom line – you only get one chance to enjoy life – no redoes – so get out there and either live vicariously through us or better yet go to a concert and tell the world all about it!

I hope you decide to follow us on our website/blog – we just love going to concerts, even the bands that might only have a few more concerts left in them – all the more reason to see them!  We love music that much and hope the energy and passion we get from music will filter into your lives and encourage you to “get off the couch” and “go to a concert” – I promise you won’t regret it!

So, put on some good tunes, kick back, and enjoy our blog with fellow music lover comments, pictures, concert stories and whatever else we think of to post on our site!

“Rock on” to all our music loving friends – we hope to “Rock Your world”!

Remember — there is “So Much Music So Little Time”.

  1. Thank you Lynda for all the invites to the greatest concerts in the world, especially for introducing me to Joe Bonamassa, best concert I’ve ever been too.
